ANA SEDS-GO Cohort Planning Meeting
March, 11th 2021 at 3pm EST
The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) introduced the SEDS-GO Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) in 2020 to support Native organizations to build internal organizational capacity in order to maximize impacts and services to the communities that are serve. There were eight “targeted challenges” that the ANA was looking to support to ensure that recipients are able to grow their organizations. The original list of challenges that ANA targeted to address are:
- Staff Development
- Governance
- Effective Grants Management
- Strategic/Community Planning
- Financial Management Systems
- Use of Technology
- Ability to Track and Manage Data
- Partnerships
In the SEDS-GO FOA regarding Post-Award Training, ANA anticipated that the SEDS-GO cohort would have participated in an additional day to develop more support towards a capacity improvement plan and specialized support from ANA staff and our Training and Technical Assistance Centers. Since we were unable to meet in person, we’d like to schedule a virtual meeting with the cohort to identify ways that we can work together as a cohort to ensure project success. The ANA would like to invite all SEDS GO grantees to a meeting on Thursday, March 11th 2021 at 3pm EST to discuss ANA services that can help to support the targeted challenges and also give SEDS GO grantees an opportunity to provide feedback on future training needs to address organizational capacity. ANA hopes to see you there.
